Iris - clown loaches & tubiflex worms ?

Wish I had seen your post regarding tubiflex worms and parasites before yesterday. I purchased some new fish and one of the people recommended tubiflex worms and brine shrimp for the clowns. (Every day) So I bought some of each yesterday and since my first two clowns devoured an earthworm once, I thought they would really go for the tubiflex. They didn't seem to recognize them as food except a couple were eaten. I did put enough in the tank that the fish may have found more when I wasn't looking. they have been digging in the rocks. Later I also gave them brine shrimp (live) and they REALLY liked that. I won't give any more tubiflex worms now, but do you think I could have caused problems for them and what would I look for? I was so happy this morning realizing that I have actually gotten new fish that don't have ich yet (5 whole days) - now this! Are the live brine shrimp OK? Thanks for your help.
