Borneo sucker

I just lost a Borneo sucker, I thought, and still think, at least partly to starvation. I was told this was a catfish! I'm really shocked. I was told by someone on www.fish.bit.com.au/site_index.asp to check out the beaufortia on this site. I thought you might be interested to know that he was seemingly healthy and very active in 17G tank kept at 78*, with an Eclipse biowheel setup, under-gravel filter, and a long bubble wand attached to a strong pump. This tank had lots of algae, which this 1" fish kept almost clean. When I had to move him (another fish had lymphocystis) to a 10G tank with no bubblewand and less algae, he became pale and less active. He only lasted 1mo. in this tank, with me frantically trying everything advised for starving algae eating catfish. The chemistry was fine in this tank and mat
