Sorry to hear about your loach. I can relate! when i bought mine i was informed they required no special attention and would be fine in the same set up as my goldfish! It was just pure luck i suppose, that i stumbled across this web site. In particular Martin's Article, which i took to the shop to provide them with a better insight! Not very well recived i may add! I had to rush out and buy a whole new set up,with powerheads and serious oxygenating equip. which they are thoroughly enjoying now, much to my bank managers disgust! LOL!! Hope you have better luck next time!
