Hi Iris,

No, we don't have any tetras, just platies. One of the platies looked like he might be developing the same problem on Sunday, so we plonked him in some anti-bacterial stuff, and he seems (fingers crossed also) to be ok now. Everyone seemed healthy until we got the loaches, so I'm thinking they may have brought something with them.

As you suggested before, I've increased water turbulence to ensure the water is sufficiently oxygenated, and I guess I'll try some loaches again in a while - when my LFS has some new stock. Thanks for all your help.
