skunks can be quite aggressive, so to a certain extend this is normal. One chance to soften their behaviour that has been repeatedly reported is to make sure that every loach has its own hideout. Usually however i wouldn`t keep long finned fish with botias, it can work but....

BTW how big is your tank? Overcrowding might also be a factor leading to aggression.
