Clown Loach & Tank Size

Hi all,

I'm just about to get my first Clown Loaches, and wanted to ask about size.

I have a 15 US Gallon tank (24" x 9" x 17" high) that I'll have 3 Clown Loaches in. Can I expect these to grow to the expected 6" each in this tank?

I've read that some can grow to a foot long, but can't see that happening in this tank. Not sure what size tank would be needed for that.

I had anticipated also having 1 or 2 Betta splendens in the tank, but decided that 3 Clown Loaches would occupy the bio- capacity so they can't have any other friends in there.
