Red Modesta turning Blue--Color, not mood

My once brillant red modesta, dyed fraud, is getting paler by the day. His belly is showing a bluish tinge to it. Will he ever be all blue or will he retain some of the dye?

To solve the problem of feeding the modestas my babies, I picked up a tank divider to use temporarily. I will be setting up another tank this weekend. I don't know where I will put it as there is no room left in the house. 600 sq ft, 2 dogs, a cat, my husband and myself and all that we acquired as singles for 30+ years. There just isn't any room. 2-10 gal tanks, 1-29 gal tank, 2-2 gallon tanks with a male Betta in each, and a fish bowl for the female Betta.

Has anyone ever been divorced over fish??? I am a newlywed!

Fishly addicted, Kimberly
