Clowns & Greens/Otos & Algae

1. I was just reading back a few days about Clowns eating plants and people feeding their Clowns spinach, cucumbers and peas. My first Clown loved cucumber slices, but what worries me now is the Clowns I have now almost NEVER eat anything green. They never bother the plants. I feed them Tetra Bits and blood worms and I do put a cumcumber slice in once a week or so but only about every 10th one gets eaten? They laugh at peas. I also have in the same tank Corys, Betta, Cardinal, Rummy-Nose & Green Eyed Tetras. Has anyone else this problem? Is it normal? Will my fishies wind up needing a little Ex-Lax?
