Thanks Iris, there are now probably over 1,000 people who have said I'm crazy at one time or other! Of course, when I leave myself open like that... :-)
I posted a message on that board. I've been searching on the cichlids quite a bit lately. The particular cichlid that I am interested in is the electric blue hap, or SCIAENOCHROMIS FRYERI. At first I was worried about their aggressiveness, but various sources are leaning in the other direction, so I then thought "Cool, it won't eat my clowns!!" :-) I like angels, too, but they seem so popular that I just *have* to be different. And that hap is just soooooooooooo gorgeous, esp. since blue is my favorite color!
I hate occassionally being right sometimes...
Is there any way a clown would adapt to the Malawi conditions? Or would it be cruel to expect that? Personally, I'd rather live with the clowns than the cichlid any day! Thinking of those rivers reminds me of Ozarka bottled water commercials!
Thanks for your advice!
Tibor.
