Plants use ammonia, etc. but some plants are supposed to be better at it than others. I hate to admit I don't remember which ones.

Perhaps if you search the archives under "ammonia" and "plant" something will come up - we discussed it here recently, but I was really tired at the time and don't recall much about it.

In the meantime, one large plant in a 10 gallon Qtank is no doubt helping the situation.

Glad to hear the little guys are doing well.
