Personally, I'd move them. But if you are really concerned about your danios, the clowns *can* withstand your 10-gallon as long as you keep the ammonia below 1ppm at 7.2pH. I say this from two months' immediately recent personal experience, and with beautiful, healthy and growing clowns. If you're planning on doing the parasite treatment I'm working towards, remember that it costs less to medicate the 10-gallon. I'd move 'em anyway, even medicating the 55-gallon (won't hurt the danios!) if you choose to do that but remember that you do have an option. I also know what a pain all the water changes are, and know you're probably doing them twice as often as I am!
