a few "personal" questions...

hello, all...
i've only been browsing this message board for a few weeks so far, and i guess it's safe to say that i don't really "know" anyone here. however, reading everyone's posts has made me curious about their schtuff. i contemplated asking questions in response to certain posts, but i realized that such questions might seem off-topic to the thread being discussed. so um, yeah =P
danioman: what kinda danios do you keep? i know this is a loach discussion, but i cannot imagine an aquarium with loaches without some danios. the "giant" danios(genus danio) seem to be great dithers for larger/tougher fish, but i'm particularly down with the brachydanios. i think they rule in a loach tank b/c they come from the same part of the world, enjoy similar conditions(hell, seems as though they enjoy any conditions. chemistry and current of all sorts are tolerated by danios...) and best of all, my danios seem to drop eggs every 3 weeks or so....which is great loach food!
iris: i saw your post bout yer modestas and their mode of feeding. i think modestas are wonderful fish, but i havent been able to find any without some sort of color treatment. if modestas have been color-treated, will the artificial coloring go away?(i hope so...i know it does with tetras and chanda that have had similar treatment) do they recuperate from the process? also, iris, i'd love to hear about your modestas' tank...its size, how many modestas, their size, decor, filtration, etc...
to everyone else, i'd love to hear about your tanks. if it wouldnt cause to much traffic here, i'd love to see some ppl share their tank set-ups here. if not, i love talking fish(all fish...not just loaches) so send me an email: surreal_boy@yahoo.com
thanks rob
