ah, i was thinking along the lines of a 40breeder. but hey, a 48"x12" is better yet...throw a 55 on the top of a wrought iron or knock-down stand, and slide the 40 underneath it. 4 foot tanks rule...easily lit by a shoplight.

oh, and if it is a 40breeder, forget the 50g and get a 65g. same 36"x18" footprint, but it's taller at 24".
