fran, this is a great additional consideration. plus, expecse. jeez, why didnt i think of that too? for 3 tens, you'll need 3times the heaters, 3 times the number of filters, 3 times the stands, lights, etc...

there are sityuations where the 3 tens make more sense, but i'd say most situations would better suit the one 40(or the 40/55 combo or 40/65 combo)
