Can I mix Clown Loaches and Peacocks in the same tank??

I have four Peacocks: 2" to 3". The tank is 30 gallons, set up with lots of caves and hiding places, which the peacocks are fond of. I also have two 1.5" Crawfish and lots of plants. Would two or three small Clown Loaches be happy in this environment? I was thinking of adding a few snails (I have heard that the loaches will eat excess snails as they appear). Any advice? Thanks and Take Care!
