Outdoor Fish? Also Ick Tx in Clowns

Just thought I'd share something neat with you guys I heard today. There's a guy who I work with occasionally at the store (he has a "Real Job" too.) and we were talking about loaches today. He used to have a big FW tank with 5 clown loaches in it. He said that one thing he did to keep his FW fish healthy is put them in an outdoor tank in the summertime (we live in Raleigh, NC--pretty temperate here). He would cover it from predators & fish jumping out, but the fish could get some sunshine and be exposed to rainwater. His beautiful clowns spoke for themselves--Mark and Suzanne actually bought 2 of them.
