New Loaches

I finally went out and bought my first clown loaches. I was impatietently waiting to finish treating my tank for ich. I got 3 clowns and 1 butterfly. The clowns and the butterfly just came into the store that day. When I brought them home, the first night they were very active, swimming all over the tank (55g). For the last 2 days they have been hiding. I have seen no more than 2 Clown loaches at one time. They will come out at night and swim around a bit, but not like the schooling they did the first night. I am not sure if they are eating. The butterfly has made a couple of appearances... quick appearances but I think he/she is getting a good fill of algae.

Is this normal? I guess they are pretty stressed from being shipped to the LFS and then taken home the same day. Is there anything I should watch for, or anything I can do to make sure they are eating. How can I coax them out? I have some pretty good hiding spots in my tank. They did get their color back pretty much right away, but the lack of eating worries me. Any help is appreciated.
