Lifespan of Kuhli Loaches

Anybody know the average lifespan of Kuhlis? I've had 4 of those dudes in a 10gal with 3 white clouds for about 3 years now. They all come out at feeding time and roll around in the substrate... They are also very easily scared... If I'm too noisy or bumpy near them, they race around the tank til they go under some ornaments so I make sure I walk very gingerly around the tank...
