Do Kuhlis eat snails?

I've read on this forum that many loaches tend to enjoy a nice little snail, but I was wondering if Kuhlis do this too. I have a pair in my tank, and I also have a decent number of Malaysian snails in my gravel. I think there has been a decline in the snail population since I added the Kuhlis, but I also added a betta at the same time and I know they also like snails (in fact, I think I've seen him hunting snails). I rarely see my Kuhlis eat, yet they are about twice as fat as when I got them (they were thin little puppies!). I was just wondering if they were supplementing their diet with snails.
