In Response To: Yes they are the "neighbor's clowns..." (Iris)

...my five tanks (!!) are home to quite a variety, I just happen to find loaches of all kinds to be the most interesting fish, although my angels come in second and the Army of Corys a close third. While the loaches tend to hide out in Loach Central until I feed 'em or sit down in front of the tank, my angels swim right up to the top and say "hello" (as well as "feed us!"), which is nice to come home to after a hard day in front of the computer.... the corys are a trip, there's no more inoffensive fish in the world and they will all line up in the front of the tank and just watch me at the computer... if only I could teach them to code, I'd be in business.

The MODESTAS, now, are a different story! They will come out sometimes when I'm sitting in front of the tank and CLICK AT ME! Sheesh, and I feed 'em.. I guess if I were blue and pointy-nosed with a loud click I'd get more respect. Typical modestas, though - and they have learned the trick that, if they click loud enough in the morning, they'll wake me up and I'll get up and feed them. I've woken up after what sounded like someone beating rocks rapidly against the side of the tank to discover several small, blue faces watching me. If I just lay there, they fire up again! I need soundproofing to sleep late on the weekends now.

Aren't loaches wonderful? :P
