Clowns, Serpaes and ???Glass Cats???

Here's the deal...I'm planning some major rennovations this fall. Getting a bigger tank for the serpaes (want a fairly large school), and plan to keep about 5 clown loaches with them (it's a 75g). I'm thinking that the silver hatchets would do well in that tank as well, and if I move them, I might as well move the glass cats while I'm at it, and free up that tank for something else. Question is: will the glass cats do well with the water parameters that are ideal (or what passes for ideal) for the loaches and serpaes??? Or would I be better off leaving them out of the equation?

Thanks for any input...what I'm thinking is that the clowns and serpaes would make a nice display tank, but if you see any potential problems there, I can rethink the whole issue...
