I have been in western Mass numerous times on my way to upstate New York. I have been to Worcester, Springfield, and Weston. It looks completely different from the eastern part of the state. Good loach stores I'd recommend around Boston are

"Gills" on Route 9

"Big fish little fish." On Porter square in Cambridge

"Uncle Ned's Fish Factory" On route 1A West in Millis MA.,

"The Petshop" Downtown Boston

"Super Pet." Downtown Boston

"Newbury Pet." Newbury street in Boston, and

"Pet Club"
