Spinach, loaches, and breeding behavior...

...no, don't get excited, I don't have breeding modestas...

I finally remembered to pick up some spinach for my fish to try. It's organic, and frozen - best of both worlds! I melted some and put it in for my discus because they kept looking at me ("Hey, why do the loaches get that, we want some!!!) The discus snapped it up eagerly, leaving only the larger pieces which I guess were hard for them to eat. Then the rest of the spinach finished melting and I gave that to the modestas - who actually ate most of it!

Finally, a veggie my modestas like. :-) They actually temporarily ended their game of "Survivor" (described in another post)
