Botia Birdi...

I have recently looked at a photograph of what is called a Botia Birdi. This species of fish, is extremely similar to the B. Lohachata or Yo Yo Loach, and there are almost no differences between the two species that I have mentioned here.

The only differences that I can actually distinguish are the color pattern. B. Lohachata seem to have a clearer pattern on their body, while the B. Birdi in this photo has a kind out smuged look to its body. Besides that, both species have a chracteristical "Yo Yo" pattern, both species have the same shaped head, and both species have an extremely similar body shape.

What can we conclude from this? I think that the two species are synonomous with each other, but B. Lohachata being th
