2 of my tanks were heavily attacked by ich last week. I raised the temperature to 80F and used Coppersafe half dose for a few days. There was no sign of improvement so I went to buy Quick Cure & Aquari-sol.
I changed 50% of the water and put in some activated carbon to get rid of Coppersafe in the water. After that I raised the temperature to 90F, then lowered it to 87F after 24 hours because I was told 90F was too high. On that first day, half a dose of Quick Cure was used in the non-loach tank (pygmy cories, neons, a pleco, etc).. half a dose of Aquari-sol was used in a tank with clowns, sidthimunkis, rostratas, and darios.
On the second day, the spots decreased a bit. I changed 50% of the water
