Torpedo Alley

Well a week after getting my fishkids situated in their new tanks..

The 55gal that now houses the 6 modestas and 6 gourami is *affectionately* referred to as "Torpedo Alley"... blurbs from long ago cartoons come to mind (faster than a speeding bullet....)as the modestas have taken to a ritual of speeding from mid tank round and round. No point in watching,, you'll not keep up with them. You just try to figure which size is leading this round and will they make the corner turn?

The gourami take it in stride and wander around the top while this is going on. The 2 platy divide up and one goes to the top and one goes to the bottom.

At the end of this new racing game,, they've discovered that they can prop their tails against a plant and their noses against the corner midway up the tank and watch, wait & rest u
