Temps. for Weather Loaches

I too have been told they will withstand a wide variety of temperatures. My neighbor is from Laos and when she looked at my aquarium she was familiar with weather loaches although as a delicacy. (get away from my loach tank!).

Anyway.......I was inquiring about temeperatures and such and she stated they are in temps between 60-70F, with lower 60's being typical(around 62F). Another thing is that they often dig themselves deep into the mud during dryspells and survive until more rain.

I keep mine around 75F although it has been as high as 80-82F and they seem lethargic at higher temeperatures. Mine do very well at 75F.Not suggested much above 75F.
