Weather Loach spawning

I know much has been discussed on breeding Weather Loach recently however:

We signed for a new house today, and shall be moving in about a months time. Two of the good features are that it has a garage (to keep the Dojos nice and cold over the winter) and a conservatory (to warm them up and give them plenty of light in an attempt to get some spawning going on).

I'm going to keep the males and females seperate, but do I need to keep the males cool or just the females until they get fat with eggs?

Also, does anyone know if you can get a cooler for a fish tank (an anti heater if you will) so that I wouldn't need to go the effort of setting up tanks in the garage and for all year spawni
