How much salt too add?

How much salt do I add to the tank where clowns are present? The LFS told me 1 TBS per 10 G. of water. And, for example, if I change 20G of water in a 50G tank. Do I add 2TBS of salt to the 20G new water or 5 TBS of salt for the whole tank? My loaches are still flicking a bit but are looking much better. I have been just changing water and vaccuming the gravel and try not to use medicine. The temp. is up to 86F(it took a while for a 125G tank to heat up). Over all things are much better. Thank you all for your help. I am so glad to have this Website to come for help. Thanks again and have a happy new year.
