Wierd looking lump on one of my modestas

I just got a new modesta to add to my 2 so I could have a happy trio and something I noticed on him when I got home. He has this wierd lump about 3mm in diameter in his right side right above his anal fin. It is the same color as the rest of his body but sticking out a lot. He is just as active as the rest and they have already accepted him in their group (after fighting for a day over dominance) and now they are all lined up in the rock cave looking out this way (SO CUTE!!!) What could be the problem??
