Sick corys - Clowns next?

happy new year

I have a 27 gal US tank with 4 clowns and 6 bronze corys. These guys get along well. However, there is a problem. Three of the corys are rolling on their sides, gasping and one has developed fungus threads on a wound?/ulcer? on his big bony plate behind his left gill cover. They sometimes do some flashing even though the clowns do not. I can see no external parasites. I removed the 3 affected corys to a small hospital tank and treated the wound with gentian violet. Two of the corys are lying on their sides a lot although they right themselves to swim around.

The water in my main tank checks out : pH 7.0 Hardness 2 DH, 0 ammonia and nitrite, nitrate 20 - 30 ppm. I use a
