Well I just got three Blue botia (botia Modesta, right?) Yikes I brought them home, it was only about a half hour trip, and put them in the quarantine tank, They spent their whole first hour in the tank trying to jump out. They were literally leaping out of the water, and doing that Sea World dolphin thing (swimming vertical, top half of the body out of the water :) I was sure the largest one would be on the desk before the hour was up, even with all the aluminum foil blocking the holes. And the funniest thing was they seemed to be having a blast. Finally they settled down and when I came back later to check on them I found one of them with his head buryed up to the gills in the gravel tail sticking strait up like a pillar in the middle of the tank and he just sat there like that for a few minets while I'm wondering what to do, I mean this looked really odd no twitching or any thing just stuck up there.
