puzzled by death (not a loach but...)

hey guys...long time no type...

I've been really busy at work recently..so i aint gonna read the 1000+ unread posts.

my problem is this..i've had a tropical tank set up now for around 8 months. The plants are all healthy and growing (far to damn quickly).
The water parameters all check out ok.

I have 4 bumblebee gobies, 4 penguin tetra's,(here comes the on topic part) 1 kuhlie, 2 pangio muraeniformis'(incedentaly, these get along like a house on fire...i think the kuhlie is having an identity crisis).

On sunday, got a sailfin pleco, which was the biggest + most lively in the tank of around 30.

The tank they were in was sitting around 21-22C. My tank sits around 27-28C. On monday morning, he was swimming around, sucki
