"chinese algae eaters"

I recently purcased what was labeled as a horseface loach, but in fact it looks just like a smaller version of my "golden chinese algae eaters".

My guess is that the loach was mislabeled, as its snout isn't as long as the picture shows in the photo index of this forum.

My question is this: what is the correct name for golden chinese algae eaters and are they in the loach/botia family?
