General Hardness, Neutralizer Stones & Tuffa Rocks

Hi fellow loach keepers

The natural tap water in my area has very low hardness (Calcium is 7 mg/L) and my API test kit subsequently indicates 1 dGH (degrees German Hardness) (get ppm by multiplying dGH x 17.9).
Carbonate hardness (KH) is also very low. A treatment plant raises the low pH of the raw water to a neutral 7.0.

My Axelrod Mini-Atlas indicates my loaches like a Hardness of 8 dGH (143 ppm) and my corys a Hardness of 12 dGH (215 ppm). Other sources suggest 3 - 6 dGH (50 - 100 ppm).

Should I raise the hardness of the water? Even with topping up, the GH in my tank is still only 2 dGH ( 36 ppm) af
