Breeding Weather Loach (revisited)

I'm wondering about this, and I think I'm going to give it a try, but I wondered whether anyone had anything to suggest.....

It's common practice when breeding coldwater fish to lower their temperature to help encourage them to spawn. As cooling water is a rather tricky thing to do, I'm thinking of putting some of our Weather Loach into one of our tropical tanks for a few weeks keep them at about 25C and then put them in unheated tank of about 10C-15C and see what happens.

Has anyone tried this already?

Thanks
Mark
