Loaches and New Tanks

How sensitive are clown and yoyo loaches to new tank conditions (ammonia and nitrites rising, etc.)?

How about fluctuations in Ph?

Should they be the last to go into a new tank?

And finally, when a 65 gallon tank has cycled, can you add as many as 5 2-3" loaches at one time? Or will adding that many fish to an established system cause another ammonia spike?

I'm planning for the next several months. I'll be setting up another 65 gallon (seems to be my tank size of choice),and I'm thinking of ordering some loaches via a web site.

Thanks.
