Algae Scrubbers anyone ?

Would you like to share any information you have on Algae Scrubbers please ? Are they really worth spending about 4 times the most expensive Eheim filter ? Nature filters water with algae not bacteria they say. But most importantly, are they good for our beloved clown loaches and bottom feeders ? Lets give this not so popular and accepted filter a try, because I like their natural approach and what they claim. Check out the manufactures' site at www.surgarium.com Lots of imformation there. In fact a little to much. Our Clowns deserve the best though, hey ?
