Ready and mating (I hope)

I thought that mid-February would be close enough to the Japanese or Chinese beginning of Spring after a month of overwintering. So I started :).

Their tank is divided, with two males (Mystery and Trucker) on one side, and the female (Spots) on the other. They seem to be looking for each other. Perhaps it is just me, but I noticed that Spots has a fat area starting at her head and ending near her oviduct on the length of her body. Eggs! True, it could be a fat reserve, but Trucker is definitely a male, and the fat reserves on his body look a lot different.

Anyway, I am very excited. The tank has a handmade wooden/stone spawning cave that the loaches go into a lot. Also, there are five or six dwarf sedge (Acorus Gramineus var. Pusillus), a couple of small Aponogeton and a banan
