A tale of 2 Skunk loaches & their Friends

Well, I have 2 distinctly different skunk loaches -- both in health and personality. My first loach is healthy and the bigger of the two; most definitely the dominant loach.

The other one is very skinny looking, but it is eating well. It spends more time out during the day and spends more time in the upper half of the tank checking out leaves and stuff. I'm guessing he is looking for food flakes, but I didn't know if they sometimes eat algae...Is this normal or should I be worried about his behavior? If you recall, I'm the one with internal parasites, so if his thinness is caused by that it is being medicated right now.

As for how the skunks get along with my other tankmates:

3 kuhlis - no fighting, they sometimes hang out
