Non-peaceful Clown Loach?

I have a relatively new aquarium ( 1 1/2 months),and I have a half dozen platys, a bala shark, and a pictus catfish. This is a 30 gallon tank. I have fairly smooth gravel and rocks on both sides of the aquarium that the loach can hide in.

I just purchased 1 clown loach and an angelfish to add to the aquarium. I realize that I should have at least 3 loaches so that they can school, but I didn't know this when I bought him. He seemed fine, though...would hide some but would also be very active in the evenings. Last night, however, when I came home, he seemed to be very antagonistic w/ the other fish - chasing them around the aquarium and "biting" at their fins (I assume he was biting - that's what it looked like). He was the worst w/ the angelfish...would chase it for long periods of ti
