Small white spots, worms?

I was reading a post on white worms called planaria. How do you get rid of them? I noticed all these white little specks all over the place in my 10 gallon aquarium. And they were alive and moving about. Then I added Maracide and I saw a few white worms surface on top and finally died. I could still see all the small white things moving about so I started to add CopperSafe and now there are much less of them but I can still see a few white spots moving about. I took all my fish out of there so there is currently no fish in that tank. I mainly use it for quarantine or hospital tank. What do you suggest I do with this tank? Will they all eventually die off? There are only about two small snails and a couple of plastic plants in there and the substrate is gravel. I did do a 50% water
