Well, I have been treating the tank for several days now. The whiteness around the wounds has begun to fade. The LFS suggested that this is
a good improvement and that I discontinue the medication or I am going to end up really messing up the tank. I treated with Neomycin at half
strength (today is the last day), Quick Cure at half strength for four days (to rule out ich), and Melafix at full strength. I plan to do a
water change this afternoon and put in some carbon to clean up any residual medicine. I then plan to continue treating with melafix for at
least another few days to a week.
Questions: How long does it take the carbon to remove the medicine from the water
