painted loaches!?!

A few days ago, I was in a fairly reputable LFS here in Virginia when I noticed a tank labeled "Painted Loaches." The store worker flushed them out and they were overly blue modestas. This irked me not only because I'm not comfortable with fish being injected but also because folks could get fooled into buying something that could grow larger and potentially snippy. (I know modestas can be wonderful fish in the right setup, but you need to know what you're getting). I don't know that I have a question in this: perhaps just wanting to share an "argggg," and maybe warn of a potential trend.
