In defense of the humble Skunk loach

I have not posted about my 3 skunk loachs in several months now, and I recall earlier posts calling them "punk" loaches and I simply had to post something in their honor after watching my skunks for 3-4 months now. These are great fish!

For about the first month or month and a half, I think my skunks would have been considered by many (including myself at times) as "punk loaches". However, after settling in, they definitely are much more peaceful and fit in with my paradise fish, white clouds and kuhlis with no problems whatsoever. They do actually appear to enjoy each other's company, and they only chase and click at each other during feeding now. Unlike some reports, my three are mellowing with age, and the largest and oldest is by far the most
