Clowns or Modestas eating Danios?

Hi all. I have my 55 gallon setup with 7 small Clowns ranging in size fron 1" to 4", 2 Botia Modestas, about 3" each, 3 CAEs, only about 2", a common Pleco about 6", and 'had' a school of Zebra Danios, 11 total... A couple days ago, 2 Danios turned up missing, and now, 3 more are gone. I have searched the entire tank for dead bodies, but not even a trace of them! All of my water conditions are normal, and the tank has been set up for over 6 mos now. There are plenty of caves & hiding spots for all the fish that inhabit the tank, and no aggresion is ever notice when viewing the tank. My question is are the Clowns or Modestas eating my danios?? I haven't had this problem before... Thanks ahead for any input!!
