I have a Botia Striata (Zebra Botia) that I've had for 4 years. (Started with a pair and the female commited sucide by leaping out of the tank 2 years ago)
He has always been a wonderful eater and no problems at all. He has been happily sharing all the caves and logs with 3 huge Kuhli loaches for 2 years.

problem is that I had not seen my botia for about 2 weeks and that in and of itself is not too unusual as my 29 gal is heavily planted

Well 2 days ago he appears out of the blue and is nothing but skin and bones. There is plenty of food- food he has always eaten- but he does not seem interested in it.

Kuhlis are fat as my thumb and all the fish in the tank are very healthy. tank parameters are at their normal low or zero readings and PH is at it's normal 7.4. In short all is as it has been in my
