Classification of Stone loach (N. barbatulus)

Hey,
More trouble with latin names I'm afraid : ). Does anyone know for sure the correct latin name for the Stone loach? I have seen this species listed in the family Cobitidae under the latin name of Noemacheilus barbatulus. I have always taken this to be correct. However, in numerous places I have seen the name spelled as Nemacheilus barbatulus. Just to add to the confusion I was reading a fairly recent book on freshwater fish which listed this species in the family Balitoridae, under the name of Barbatulus barbatulus. I'm pretty sure this species is a Cobitid but I want to know what other people think. No one so far seems to have been able to give me any concrete answers.

Also, has anyone found Botia eos to be aggressive? I have never experienced aggression with this species myself, but I have read reports of intraspecific nastiness. Best wishes.

Joe
