Two Beaufortia questions.

Just got a "borneo sucker fish" i.e. a Beaufortia as far as I can make out, and I have two things I'd like to check with the experts:

* Are they gregarious? Should I get a second one?

* What's best feeding practice? He's in the small "mountain pool" tank with five white clouds, which was previously well cycled by being home for two goldfish for a while, so there is a reasonable algae growth.
