Indian Spotted Loaches

The LFS I work at got a batch of what they call Indian Spotted Loaches. They look a great deal like the weather loach, but apparently only originate in India and prefer warmer waters (no less than 75). Can someone help me id the genus/species of these guys and tell me what sort of water conditions they like? If someone knows what their native habitat is like (light intensity, level of cover, vegetation, ph, current speed etc) that would be fabulous!

Thanks,
Sarah
